Review On Artist's Loft Acrylic Paints

Any artist will tell you having the right tools matter, it can make or break a good painting. But what if you are a new artist who doesn't have the money to buy the expensive paints, brushes, or papers? Or like me you like to paint little pieces weather it's in a sketchbook or in a sketch pad and you don't want to waste your good stuff on it. We need something good but also affordable, that is where Artist Loft paints come in. They actually have a whole line of art supplies that I will be covering throughout my blog, but for now we will just cover the paints.

I have been using these paints for 2 years now and I can honestly say they are a great paint. I have used them in my sketch books, and I have used them in my bigger canvas pieces.

They have a huge selection of colors, and they are very vibrant, so a little goes a long way. Nothing is perfect so yes even these paints have some flaws. They do dry fast so you have to work around that I find adding a little water to your brush helps blend it out but if you have a piece that requires a lot of blending you might want to use something a little more expensive. As you can see by the gnome's hat, I was able to blend just fine using a little water.

These are the colors I have. They also blend together very well so I am able to make many other shades with them, they do dry a little darker so keep that in mind. I do plan on buying more colors in the future, and recommend them to anyone starting out or looking for something more affordable. Artis's Loft paints and other supplies can be found on Amazon or at Michaels I hope this helped you. If you have any more question about the Artist's Loft paints or any of there products let me know and I will try to answer them the best I can.
